We are Deniz & Guniz, formerly known as “Objects of Our Lives” from 10 Hulfish St., Palmer Square in Princeton, NJ. Here, we’re kindly inviting you to our online pop-up store that will be running for the next 3 months. In the process of curating this online pop-up store, we’ve collaborated with our favorite local artists and artisans we met during our travels. We simply aspired to bring together exquisite, unique and authentic home design objects, dinnerware and gift items for you that are mostly hand-made in Turkey, and more specifically in the historic Aegean town of Urla where we are currently visiting, alongside the city of Istanbul.

On this fourth round of our online pop-up event, we’d like to feature Istanbul-based jewelry designer Ipek Sensilay. Sensilay is truly inspired by the pebbles she handpicks at the beaches and shorelines of Greece. She thinks that each pebble carries a memory, story and energy of its own. Moved by these stones as if they are whispering to her, she’s aspired to see them embellished by silver and gold. She believes that precious metals when combined with these simple stones create beautiful and elegant alchemy and, in a sense, bring nature’s reinvigorating energy and artistry closer to our bodies. She argues that some stones are even more beautiful and visually attractive than some precious gems.

we’re featuring Sensilay’s jewellery collection made of unique pebbles, seashells and driftwood collected from the Greek coastlines. She believes these stones not only connect our body and soul with nature’s revitalizing energy but also with the breeze of Greece. This unique collection includes necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.
